" let me make this clear: the views expressed in this article are those of the author and do not reflect the official policy, position or views of CharlotteTrini.com."now that we got...... that out of the way, here it is:
It is a commonly known fact that the dj world is primarily dominated by males, however last night at Girl Power, that was not the case. For all who did not come out to witness this event, the baddest FEMALE dj graced Charlotte with her presence, and in true super hero fashion, she saved the day. DJ Princess Chow represented for the ladies at Girl Power and left the masses wanting more. Music was also provided by Mz. Maddem, however the night belonged to Princess Chow hands down. We were able to enjoy hits from all genres of music and every age group in attendance was completely satisfied when Chow was in control. Note to all dj’s, when playing any event whether it be a Bar Mitzva or a Machel Montano concert, feel the crowd and play want the people want!!! All in all the event was a success, and large up to Lion Tribe and WI Charlotte!!!
My two cents: i just wanted to add a few things my guest author forgot to mention. since this event was girl power, it was only fitting that they had a female artist. in usual lion tribe manner, they gave a rising artist her time to shine. shida from badness inc was an exceptional touch to the show. when she hit the stage she demanded attention and the crowd reacted. i will like to see more of her in the future! the night ended with princess chow in control and waaay too soon, looking forward to the next one! rating: you can view photos here!
